With flexible on-farm and on-centre options, including Artificial Vagina (AV) collection for suitable bulls, we maintain strict quality control and full traceability. Bull Fertility Testing & Morphology
Ensure your sires and sale bulls meet fertility expectations with comprehensive, accurate testing.
Motility is assessed crush-side at collection, with samples analysed for morphology at our Etna Creek and Wacol laboratories. All clients receive a detailed, easy-to-interpret report.
We also support veterinarians and technicians nationwide with morphology testing and reporting, with results uploaded to Bull Reporter upon request.
For full Bull Breeding Soundness Examinations (VBBSE), contact Dr Di Sorley (ACV Accredited), with extensive experience in crush-side testing and fertility evaluation.
Semen Collection & Processing (On-Centre & On-Farm)
We provide customised semen collection and processing for domestic and export markets.
Each bull is individually assessed to optimise:
- Collection method
- Frequency
- Processing protocols
This tailored approach ensures the best possible outcome for every bull.
Collection options include:
- On-centre (Etna Creek) – including Artificial Vagina (AV) collection for suitable bulls
- On-farm collection by one of our qualified technicians– reducing stress and preserving valuable genetics
- Alternatively, bulls may be collected by your preferred veterinarian, with collections transported to one of our Labs for processing. Collection kits can be supplied on request.
All semen is assessed, processed, re-evaluated, and stored under strict quality-controlled conditions, with full traceability and reporting. Where semen falls below industry standards, processing can still be completed at the owner’s request (for personal use only).
Export Semen Collection
Our Etna Creek facility is a DAFF-approved collection centre, operating under strict export protocols.
We manage:
- Quarantine and disease testing requirements
- Export-compliant processing
- Licensed storage at Parkhurst and Wacol
