Greg Fawcett QCA

Operations Manager

Greg has over 35 years’ experience in the cattle industry since he started with artificial breeding back in 1979.  He has trained thousands of people both within Australia and overseas in Artificial Insemination (AI) and also inseminates cattle commercially and for research projects in large numbers. Greg has been the manager of BBS since 2007, operating the Central Queensland distribution service centre.  He provides AI training for our customers and advice on AI program management on request.  Greg has undertaken numerous courses and training to ensure his knowledge and skills are at the forefront of AI services and operations throughout Queensland.

Dr Graham Stabler BVSc

Veterinary Operations

Graham commenced working in the Beef industry in 1969 and has a particular interest in beef cattle production and reproduction, having a degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland. He was a partner in a private veterinary practice for over 30 years, specialising in bull fertility, beef herd health and equine reproduction.  Graham enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge and experience with all in the industry and enjoys competing in camp drafting.

Gordon McDonald

Centre Manager/Semen Export Manager

Gordon has 43 years’ experience in primary industries including research work into dairy breeds, artificial insemination practices and developing genetic markets both domestically and for international exports.  Gordon is passionate about delivering quality information and guidance in all aspects of genetic practices within the artificial breeding industry.

Dr Russell Miller BVSc(Hons)

Senior Veterinary/Operations Advisor

Russell has an Honours degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland and over 40 years specialising in cattle reproduction and artificial breeding, working throughout Australia and also performing consultancy work in many overseas countries. He had a Veterinary practice for a number of years before working with the Queensland Government for over 30 years in bovine reproduction, semen exporting, embryo transfer programs and management both locally and consulting to overseas countries.  Russell advises and assists BBS in providing the best artificial breeding services possible to Australia’s cattle industry.
